Individual Instruction
In the Artist's Studio
Cindy Weaver is an experienced pottery teacher, having taught classes at Fat Cat Pottery and the Pancoe Education Center at the Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington, NC before opening her own studio for individual instruction.
If you live in or near New Hanover County, NC., you or your child over eight years old can take pottery lessons with Cindy Weaver. Here are the details:
- Instruction in both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques.
- Sessions are 1 1/2 hours long and the price is $40 per lesson. The price includes instruction, firing of all class work and glazes for class work.
- Payment is due at the time of lesson. 24 hours notice required if scheduled lesson is to be missed.
- Lots of TLC: Instruction is geared to each student's individual ability and learning style.
- Clay and tools can be purchased at the studio.
- Helpful Items:
- A ziplock bag
- "Play" clothes and shoes
- A box for tools and extras
- A small, old towel
- Please leave rings at home. (The clay is not good to them!)
